Is it possible to get even more power out of the engine by chiptuning than you offer?

Sure, but our goal is not to get the maximum out of your engine, but to achieve an optimal combination of performance increase and fuel efficiency without overloading the transmission. For this purpose we vouch with our warranty!

Is it advisable to have made performance increases on a brand new car?

During the run-in phase, which is reqiured by the manufacturer, there should be made no performance increases. In a phase where the piston rings are not yet grounded on the cylinder running surface, an increase of the maximum combustion pressure would cause an increased likeliness of engine damage.

Does the manufacturer's warranty void?

Not in general. The vehicle manufacturer is not liable for damages caused by performance increases. For this we will give an enhanced warranty. Then again he is responsible for damages that are not caused by performance increases. This is required by the currently valid law of warranty claim in Europe.

Is the tuning harmful for the engine?

No. Our performance increase uses the tolerances given by engine developers without having harmful effects on the long-life cycle of the engine, the transmission and other transmissioning devices. All relevant mechanical limits get specified before developing a performance increase and get fixed in the specification sheet. The average thermal liability of the devices are approximately in the sector of the series.

Is the MSC5-powermodule visible for repairpersons?

The fitted MSC5-powermodule could ,of course, be recognized by an expert during a checkup. But it won't be recognized when reading the fault code memory during an inspection. If the MSC5 is has been removed before, it cannot be detected at all.

Why don't the vehicle manufacturers offer this performance increase ex factory?

Without a doubt the vehicle manufacturers have the best engineers – but they pursue other goals! Efficiency, emission standards, classes of insurance, fuel quality, mechanical tolerances and extremely unsteady climatic conditions are just a few points that constrain the engineers in factories. By contrast our performance change is an individual adaption to your mechanical conditions by utilise all tolerances given by the manufacturer.

Will my turbodiesel pass the exhaust emission test?

Definitely! Professional tuning doesn't impair emission values. There could be even documented improved emission values with Commonrail-types.

Does the vehicle also run with biodiesel anymore?

Insofar as the engine is approved for biodiesel use by the manufacturer there cannot occur any damage caused by the tuning. But it is important to know that your engine can lose up to 10% power because of the lower fuel value of biodiesel.

Is cold start affected or  the possibility of diagnosis change?

The vehicle runs at all points as standard – with exception of the engine power when you push the accelerator.

Is there an individual electronic for particular vehicles or do you use standard devices for all engines?

Our control units are programmed engine specifically and if necessary we or our specialist dealer can adjust their power downwards. We achieve an as high power density as the manufacturer, because our control unit is directly attched to the sensor system of the vehicle.

In how far increases the top speed and the acceleration from 0-100 km/h?

Unfortunately, definite information for every vehicle is not possible. Those data are unreliable because of different tyres and speedometer tolerances. That's why we are exclusively geared to the data that we can document reproducible: the data of power and torque.

Is there something I have to pay additional attention to after the performance increase?

No more than with a standard vehicle. The service intervals required by the manufacturer have to be observed. Other acvtivities that belong to your individual responsibility like a regular checkup of the oil level and the quality of the used engine oil should also be regarded. Engines of turbovehicles need to be warmed up extensively (depending on the outdoor temperature ca, 10-15 km) before demanding full power. Also the engine needs to cool down after a speedy motorwaytrip. Please observe these rules and your engine will thank you with high and trouble-free service performance.

Is there a need to adapt the original brake system to the increased efficiency?

Due to the fact that the vehicle manufacturer has already arranged effectual safety reserves, it is not necessary. This is authenticated by the German Technical Inspection Agency in several reports.

Does the classification of my car in the emission standard change after a performance increase?

No, of course not. A worsening of standard exhaust emission characteristic is outlawed. Furthermore, we have let compiled reports by the German Technical Inspection Agency for many of our performance increases. Contrariwise: in most cases the pollutant emission declines!

Do I need other tyres because my car runs faster now?

No, here we have the same rule as with the brake system. The original tyres already possess enough safety reserves so that there is no need to get new tyres just because of the MSC5-powermodule.

Is there a need to make modifications on the transmission control system?

Generally the higher torque doesn't cause any problems to automatic transmission. Due to the fact that the acquisition of torque occurs through the CAN-BUS signal, our module doesn't cause any problems in vehicles with an internal torque control.
