20% more performane with active dynamic control

The MSC5 tuning box is a digital control unit which is connected to the engine's sensors. It actively controls the engine boost pressure.

At a boost increase of max. 0.25 bar the engine´s power increases up to 20%.

Naturally the injection has to match and adjust to the increased boost levels. Here the MSC5 tuning box makes use of the engine control unit´s self adjustment ability without exceeding its limits.

The data diagrams for lambda and exhaust gas temperatur show a perfect air-fuel mixture correction and the negligible small increase of exhaust gas temperature.

The spark advance is corrected by the ECU itself via the increased volumetric efficiency measured by the air mass meter.

The engine ECU´s protective functions remain fully operational. This way boost pressure, spark advance and injection timing is kept in a safe range when a worst case fuel grade is detected.
